Eddy "The Brain" Creatchman

From Montreal. One of the greatest managers I ever saw. A genius at stirring up heat. Always looked ratty, wearing sweaters, smoking a cigar, and, of course, carrying a cane. Actually worked briefly as a wrestler and later a referee in the 50s. Found his calling when he became a manager in 1963 and worked for various promotions until 1987.

Worked with all the top heels in Montreal in the 1970s -- most notably Abdullah the Butcher and the Sheik. Also frequently worked with the Sheik in Michigan and Ohio. Used "The Brain" gimmick long before Bobby Heenan.

His son, "Pretty Boy" Floyd Creatchman also worked as a manager in Montreal and Memphis in the 80s and hosted an imitation of Piper's Pit on the Montreal TV show.
